I think this is the last hot stint of the summer. It hasn't been hot enough for me...

but today was pretty warm. I sprawled out on the cool tile floor to cool down. Ahh...

my owner misinterpreted my meowing and thought I was asking for an ice brush. I wanted can food! But no... she grabbed an ice cube and began to rub me with it. Well, it felt good, but it was cold! and wet! Brrrrrrr....

*sigh* I just got a bath today. I told my owners that I didn't want one, but did they listen? No...

and after that, I got attacked by the De-fur-a-tron prototype 20. Brrr... Those combs scare me. Give me a good rough tongue anyday.

Ah... I just stayed in the whole day today. Nice and cool... and the couches are soft... lemme see if I can sneak into someone's blankets; those are the best.

uh oh... summer's getting so hot that I've been meaning to post but it's never happened...

evading the swimming pool... I had a close call tonight.

I swear, the heat is killing my food! Can food tastes absolutely revolting cold. Wonder if Kura's been chucked in the swimming pool... that would suck.

But I like it toasty... W00T W00T Summer!

Noooooo... apparently summer is over next week, and school starts. Not fair, I haven't had my summer share of petting yet!

Happy birthday Kura, (mine's just a month away! May 1st!) and I hope you like your toefood. Personally, I prefer tailfood. It goes down much easier. Toefood is to crujiente (Spanish for crunchy. random tidbits of my genius mind).
It's still raining... no it hasn't been raining for 3 months straight. but it's storming, raining, wind... brrrrrrrrr....

The heater is an excellent place to sleep. Wonderfully warm air gently rising from the vent... whatever, it works that's all I care.
And I got a bath today. Yuck, I was licking all that water out of my fur for whole minutes! Yuck yuck get away from me what do you think you're doing with that bucket AAAAH!!!

i have been able to avoid the swimming pool for quite a while now. it's good that the owners have only gone into the pool once or twice...

Memorial Day

yes, i know Memorial Day was yesterday.
anyway, there was a whole bunch of people making a racket in downtown Kitty City.
sounded like a marching band, a whole bunch of speeches, and more music.
well, the music wasn't that bad.
yes, i could hear it. you know that cats have good hearing, right?

oh, and my owner went to this wildcat assembly.
didn't have a house cat in it unfrotunately.
ah well.
there was a mountain lion, caracal, serval, and Canadian lynx.
personally, i like all of them.
did you know cougars, pumas, and mountain lions are all the same animal.
yes, absurd. why humans come up with these name, i don't know.

recently i have been involved with a couple of fights. for instance, i had a terrific cat fight with another cat for a preferred sleeping spot. of course i came out unscathed.
but today there was a racket of a dog fight. i'm not sure what has happened... i'm off to check it out!

there's a glass cabinet in my favorite room (a.k.a. the room with my scratching post).

Comfy Swing

today we built a contraption that is so AWESOME!!!! it's a kitty swing so safe you can sleep in it!
so first, you put the handles of the kitty carrier on the pull-up bar.
then you put the pull-up bar onto the door frame and, wall-ah! a supersafe kitty swing!
